Moody's affirms and withdraws Spark New Zealand rating

Following Spark New Zealand Limited's (Spark New Zealand's) announcement on 1
December 2014 that it had ceased to formally engage Moody's Investors Service
Pty Limited (Moody's), Moody's has today affirmed its A3 credit rating of
Spark New Zealand and withdrawn its rating at Spark New Zealand's request.

Spark New Zealand continues to be rated by Standard & Poor's, which currently
rates Spark New Zealand A-.
