I have done so previously with other companies but I find all you get in situations such as this is a rather limp reply, sort of placebo, because they really cannot say anything on a one on one basis. And that's understandable because of disclosure rules. What I am saying is we need an official publicly announced update from the company on how the business is tracking. I have this fear that senior management are transfixed in some sort of time warp, sticking to doing things the way it always been done ( I mean just issuing the regulatory half yearly reports). Lets face it, they were very slow off the mark introducing online shopping, again smacks of being a "not on the front foot" mentality.
I do however give them credit in the smartened -up advertising area, methinks coz they did hire some good talent recently.
