And one more rant. Directed this time at the media. They gave Isis and that nasty piece of work in Sydney just what he wished for. It was no coincidence that he set up opposite Ch 7 headquarters. But he was given more than that, all networks broadcast many hours of coverage, about how one committed dreg could bring a western city centre to a standstill. I know why they did it - secretly they hoped for bloodshed, even the blowing out of the building perhaps, and all for ratings and advertising income. It's been pointed out before - the lifeblood of such incidents is media coverage. Government should make it clear to the media that it will not be tolerated, that news and coverage will be limited to normal news slots, and no more; that their licences depend upon it. They gave one nasty sub-human hundreds of hours of publicity. And that was WRONG.
