I refer to the speculation on Bloomberg on 17 December 2014 in relation to a
potential transaction involving Telstra acquiring Pacnet.

Telstra confirms that it is in discussions with the owners of Pacnet around a
potential transaction to acquire the company.

There is no certainty that any transaction will take place as a result of
these discussions.
