One would imagine that Barclay's have made 'prior arrangements' on the side, rather than having to buy all that Ag on the open market.
If Buffett is still sitting on Berkshire’s 130mil/oz, which has so far been used for leasing out to Ag users, then getting a deal together with Barclay’s could be a win-win situation.
