Political debate begins on gun law reforms, page-20

I see no reason why a new migrant to the country should be allowed to own a gun . There maybe isolated cases perhaps .But for a general member of the public who arrives here with no guns why should they be able to then obtain one ?

I think they should bring in a gun buy back again for those who may decide having the money in there pocket is better for community safety.

I do think also new migrants should not be allowed ownership . They have fled persecution from guns !
