problems of woolies are overstated - ie crazypunter and some analysts - they have the masters problem and besides that anything else is easily turned around - they are only a whisker off being one of the best riskless retailers of the world ( my call and i wouldnt know many others, but it sounds good!) - i e bad management could stuff it up to some extent, but they have the positions and the logistics sorted so all it is is tweaking products and promotions!
they may have put a few off with cutting range and increasing homebrand ( i should know i had some gmf!) but the people still come!! they will have to watch the drop off in range, as going by our local store it is really noticeable, and not just in bread!! I have had more $ in wesfarmers for years ( and it has paid off ) , but now I have more $ in woolies .
