Business Description
Transpacific Industries Group Ltd operates in seven segments: Cleanaway, which includes collections, post collections and commodities trading; Industrials, which includes technical services, industrial services and hydrocarbons; New Zealand, Manufacturing, Associates and Corporate, which include shared services. The principal activities of it include municipal, residential, commercial and industrial collection services; ownership and management of waste transfer stations, resource recovery and recycling facilities, secure product destruction, quarantine treatment operations and landfills; sale of recovered paper, cardboard, metals and plastics; the collection, treatment, processing and recycling of liquid and hazardous waste, among others. In June 2014, the Company completed the sale of TPI’s New Zealand business to Beijing Capital Group. In August 2014, BT Investment Management Ltd has ceased to be the substantial holder of the Transpacific Industries Group Ltd.

For the fiscal year ended 30 June 2014, Transpacific Industries Group Ltd. revenues decreased 5% to A$1.42B. Net loss applicable to common stockholders excluding extraordinary items increased 2% to A$226M. Revenues reflect Transpacific Industrials segment decrease of 4% to A$486.7M, Transpacific Cleanaway Australia segment decrease of 1% to A$918.3M, Australia segment decrease of 22% to A$1.47B.
