In my recollection, what has happened in the past is that the share price seems to be driven up before the acceptance date. This way people see the price of 2 cents as a bargain and snap up as many shares as they can at this price. What happens after the new shares are listed depends on how many people want to hold for the longer term profit and how many want the quick short term, smaller profit.
The depth seems to be set up for this scenario at the moment.
