If the Fragile X or TBI trials are positive I doubt they will have any problems funding the trials.
Does anyone know for how long patients are medicated in the TBI trials?
With Retts and Fragile X you are dealing with a chronic conditions and that may need medication for their entire life.
As the Neuren web site says
"NNZ-2566 is based on IGF-1 and its derivatives. A small piece at the end of IGF-1 is called Glypromate and is a naturally occurring derivative of IGF-1 that has a central role in the brain’s response to injury and stress. NNZ-2566 is a synthetic analogue of Glypromate."
So you are dealing with a slightly modified natural product. This should help speed things along as will orphan drug and breakthrough therapy status.
