I have read parts of the bible but If i was to believe it I would have to accept the catch 22,
it has to have been written by sinners .... thereby rendering it suspect
Why do scriptures only relate and recount events in one geographical location ... god is supposedly omnipresent, so why would he not have instructed his boys to get amongst the whole kit an kaboodal
Being the Word of God I would have thought he would say to the disciples .............
"hey guys, along with your home turf, there are some evil dudes way way down south worshiping rainbow serpents and giant kangaroos ... I want you to sort’m out ....
Then you would think Peter or maybe Paul would have said “ok I’ll make a note of that in them there scripture thingies so we don't forget"
(and that goes for or a myriad of other ancient societies, peoples and cultures on the planet at the time)
But none rate mention in any detail just vague references and all we have in any geographical or philanthropical detail for that matter, are stories based in around a radius of a couple of thousand K’s of the planets surface ..
Now out of the whole dam planet ...I think that strange for an omnipresent god to be keeping those sort of things to himself whilst issuing or making his Ultimate "save mankind statements"
Or is it simply a case of a few educated boffins back in the day writing fables about what they are familiar with
