GENERAL: OHE: Orion Health Platform goes live at Cal INDEX

Auckland, 22 December 2014 - Orion Health announces the successful Go-Live of
its population health management solution being utilized to deliver the
California Integrated Data Exchange (Cal INDEX).  The Go-Live is the
culmination of almost two years of collaboration between Orion Health and the
two major Payer organizations (health insurers) that underpin Cal INDEX -
Blue Shield of California and Anthem Blue Cross.  Blue Shield of California
data is live in production; and we are now working with Anthem Blue Cross to
load its historical data.

Cal INDEX brings together the core underlying technology that will integrate,
combine and structure all the health information available for the nearly
nine million members of these organisations. This will then be made available
to physicians, nurses and hospitals across the state in order to give
patients the safest and highest quality care possible. Orion Health will now
continue to work closely with Cal INDEX to extend the solution through
delivering in-depth and tailored analytics, improved care coordination tools
and patient engagement applications.

While this is a major project for Orion Health and a significant milestone it
should be noted that this solution is being delivered as a software-as-a
service, with the majority of revenues received in the next financial year
and beyond.  This contrasts with a traditional software licensing model;
under which we would recognize the majority of revenues in the current
financial year with relatively small revenues in subsequent years.
