Big difference. Similar to the difference between killing a fish & a human being. Killing a human being causes more trauma (to the killer) than killing a fish due to natural psychological empathy . Similar, any early stage abortion causes less trauma (to the aborter) because the embryo is not yet fully formed into a baby. This is why many religions (eg. Islam & Buddhism) state a human being comes into existence at a certain stage of gestation.

Interesting that you want to have empathy for the person murdering the baby, the mother of the baby, however not a mention of the baby which is being murdered.
