IMO,for me todays ann. was fine as I was half expecting news that the BCP was dead and buried and my highly speculative investment in MNM was toast!!!! I still believe MNM,s future lies only with our brown coal and Exergen, and now, unfortunately with the Vict. and Fed. Govt.s and the dreaded greens.Obviously brown coal and the environment cannot be hand in hand ATM so its going to take a mighty strong case to convince Aust. and the world of the benefits of what modern technology can do for the worlds dirtiest fuel.I think things are developing quicker than we think, although that seems so painfully slow ATM.Only a year ago if seemed briquettes were the holy grail, but now not good enough, then it was just the DICE engine, now probably even not good enough.I am now thinking theres some pretty heavy hitters out there who are now callaborating with their fair sized companies,e.g. Tata,Itochu,Shanghai Electric,MAN.,Kawasaki,Toyota, among others, and their Govt.s ,China Japan,India,Germany,Aust. to develop the latest technological innovations like coal to liquids,DICE with CCS , and coal to hydrogen to change the future of motor vehicles. These and other developing tachnologies IMO can Be global game changers for what is ATM a worthless resource I.E. brown coal, and obviously all of the above is NOT happening overnight, but I think it is happening BUT I dont think Tony Abbott will be saying this stuff MIGHT WORK.Think he will be waiting till the evidence suggests that these technologies WILL WORK.Anyway time will tell, just depends how much time you have.I wait patiently. All IMO so DYOR and P.S. Merry Xmas.
