Without being an apologist for the company calling the business a mirage seems to be excessively negative. Even if they knew that developments could delay a substantial announcement we cannot know how close they got to making one. How likely is it that the work has been going on 24/7 to get to resolution this FY but simply ran out of time? I'd say very likely. The majority owners of the business have a good bit more skin in the game than most of us do, so the delay and the shifting share-price will affect them way more than it does us. Getting the fairly clear explanation we have been given on the last day of the FY is frustrating to us, but we have to see it as simply being par for the course. It is a clear signal of better news to come, and I think we should take it at face value and wait to see what follows.
