I think you are right. People are always wise after the event and when they are wrong you never hear them admit it.
I live in a town where there is a lot of discretionary spending. Since the fall in petrol price I'm seeing a lot more off road bikes and buggies in the sand-hills, we had three tourist coaches in town yesterday and I know from my own experience I can more easily justify a trip to the "big smoke" than before. When air fares reduce there will be a lot more air travel. I'm quite sure demand will increase by 20%(?) in the near future
