Philips get the Royal inside run as opposed to the hedges TIS had to jump on their track. Can you believe after all that TIS went through, and unlike almost every other application, they now have to supply their manufacturing data before CE grant recommendation. BTW, I finally read every single Review Panelists Conflict of Interest declarations [DOIs], unbelievable but true (apparently) not a single conflict from all those expert panalists in such specialised fields - amaxing.... mind until recently they noted "declarations of interests (DoIs) are made public by the Agency as submitted by the experts - the Agency does not vet these submissions before they are published."
But from Nov 2014 forward, while they will screen before nominating panalists per application - they have "relaxed" their guidelines - go figure.
