I am pretty ignorant of all this biotech stuff but that conference strikes me as an opportunity for the Chinese to steal the latest in discoveries in this sector. They copy everything and have no respect for patents.
Any agreements or shared information would only benefit them.
I am happy to be corrected by those "in the know"!
