    IMO this is great news.  Germans are serious about renewables:

    Under the revised framework, a BlueGEN unit in Germany could attract €3,792 in Federal funding, which is a significant increase from the previous Federal funding of €1,567. This Federal funding programme can also be combined with incentives from other Federal or State programmes and/or locally available incentives from councils or utilities. The maximum total funding has now been set at three times the Federal microCHP funding. A BlueGEN customer can therefore receive up to €11,376, subject to availability of additional incentives
