Further, if the Islamists are such a minority, but we can easily demonstrate many more than a few examples that result in Islamist terror, your attempt to play it down by showcasing a few examples of the successful majority is meaningless and further detrimental to your cause - your responses come across as nothing better than clutching at straws - people can simply respond with examples of Muslims who are bad.

It's laughable really, if not embarrassing.

I don't think fluffynymph is an apologist for Islamic extremists. He/she, plus a few others here on hotcopper, are trying to refute the sweeping generalization of quite a few here who have grouped ALL muslims as extreme.
