Tend to agree UKTrader - Russia is the underlying problem here...
However, not worried about the electric car until they can produce for a cheaper price and charging points (these cars are currently only good for short spurts in around the city's - take an electric car for a drive from Perth to Esperance - No Thanks) are freely available. The average person that owns an electric or hybrid car are moving towards the higher end of the middle class - so until these are available to the masses at a reasonable price, it is not viable.
Just my opinion.
