All this talk of electric cars impacting the worlds oil consumption is IMO going to have minimal impact.....What about ships, trucks, tractors, aircraft, earthmoving and mining equipment, power generating plants etc etc etc ........all huge consumers of oil and items which keep the wheels of industry in motion..........and at best , maybe 10% of cars will become hybrid/ electric jobs....... The price of oil will rise again and consumption will continue to increase as the world population needs to be fed , housed , employed etc.
I honestly don't believe it will affect us in our life time......then again.....I am 50 !!!
