Today's share price low was $1.01. The last time MRM's Share Price was this low was late 2008 (GFC). MRM's 2008 revenue was $145M, NPAT was $18M, Net Assets was $147M and Market Cap was $190M.
One of the places I receive data is from the World Bank (see http://econ.worldbank.org/WBSITE/EX...165401~piPK:64165026~theSitePK:476883,00.html).
The World Bank produces monthly commodity price summaries...the last was for December. Some of the statistics are as follows:
Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Column 4 Column 5 0 July Dec Decline 1 Crude Oil Average $/bbl $ 105.20 $ 60.70 42% 2 Brent $/bbl $ 107.00 $ 62.30 42% 3 Dubai $/bbl $ 105.80 $ 60.50 43% 4 Natural Gas Index 2010 = 100 103.4 97.7 6% 5 Japan $/mmbtu $ 15.20 $ 13.70 10%
As can be seen crude oil prices have dropped dramatically (more than 40%) but gas has hardly fallen.
The AFR article says "Mr Weber said the company has not yet been exposed to pain from the companies it services...."
This year revenue might be $700M (approximately 5 x 2008), NPAT $70M (4 x 2008), Net Assets $740 (5 x 2008) and Market Cap $400M (2 x 2008).....Go figure!!!
By the way MRM is making me very weary!!
