Unfortunately your post is very optimistic if you really believe it won't last long at these prices... somewhat naive perhaps.
Low oil prices are here to stay until balance sheets are crippled and production is reduced for the long term.
Yes you are hearing that some rigs are being shut down but the rigs that remain are upping production
Currently, as of yesterday, world oil production has not decreased so you can expect oil to remain low until it does.
Even if oil goes up from hear it will be keeped at levels low enough to achieve the above mentioned goals.
For the likes of STO ,who unfortunately loaded up on debt in the 2 years prior to the oil and gas price collapse, oil will need to trade above $60 a barrel on average for the year to hold off another credit downgrade.
As for the Saudi's getting tired of the revenue, even if they were they are well aware that the objective's have not been obtained so policy will not change until objectives have been achieved.
