yeah thats why im in cash atm - the us volatility cycles gone from 2 months to 3 weeks
the more that speeds up the more it feels to me like tremors before the earthquake.

the last thing we need is to get a US earnings season where oil companies report huge write-downs and retail stocks deliver negative surprises - i sold my Skechers holding last week when i saw some rumours of this coming through.
though I have heard the street has drastically cut back on its earnings forecasts - which would have been part of what happened last night.
