Unsubstantiated posts... please read...

Hi CSD members,

There are far too many reports for unsubstantiated information coming from this forum and appears that some of these reports are possibly an attempt to try and shut down alternate view points through moderation rather than civilly discuss/refute it on the forum.

Simply ask the member where they found the information or civilly refute/dispute the information if you disagree with it. In so many cases, the posts don't need to be moderated and it only disrupts the flow of the thread.

So, please stop the TOUs (reports) for unsubstantiated information unless it's something defamatory or a member has stated absolute facts and refuses to give the source. Posting as opinion is permitted and yet we get so many "unsubstantiated information" reports when a member has expressed something as opinion. Mods are volunteers to help make HC the best place we possibly can and we certainly don't need this unnecessary work load.

And last, but not least, please only report a post once... thanks...
