On the Radar

It is becoming apparent that the nickel asset in the Solomon Islands is on other peoples radar, not just people posting on HC or those buying or selling AVQ shares. The following viewpoint outlining the potentials in 2015 for the Solomon Islands indicates that mining of Isabel will be of growing importance to the S.I. economy and that other countries are starting to recognise this.

"There are at least two big new investments which should start to get traction this year – the Tina River Hydro project and a new nickel mine in Isabel. Both projects promise to create jobs and help the economy grow"

The article in the Solomon Star came from the Australian High Commissioners desk and IMO would indicate that he thinks that mining on Isabel will go ahead this year.
