Yes i am aware of the better instruments, more people = increased sightings etc. I do take it with some skeptisim.
The point of my article is that i was unaware that volcanoes had a positive forcing effect as well on our planet via ozone depletion. What the net effect is well who knows. This is a area i wont to learn more about.
Thanks to climategate all these articles they keep referencing has been a revelation for me.
