Why do you like abbott, im a liberal voter and I cant stand him, he is a terrible public speaker, its almost like he is teaching a group of school children, the way he talks.
Australia has had some great Prime ministers, who where great at public speaking, you had witham, then hawke, keating, howard and rudd. I cant remember one speech from Abbott that I can remember and say, that was a great speech, hes a true statesman. The way he handled himself in the SA bushfires was terrible. There was his chance and he blow it. At the height of the fires he is in Iraq, does a public speech in the country and didn't even acknowledge the fire in the Adelaide hills, which where reeking untold damage, and was just about to wipe out whole towns and potentially hit the suburbs of Adelaide. Forgetting about those poor people in there time of need was unforgivable. No previous prime minster has ever done that. We look to our leaders for comfort, none was shown
