Anyhow there is a difficulty/ a problem in getting Offtakes for Import Replacement purposes especially in New Mines Timelines.
By that I mean New Mines proposing production in 2017 on.
A offtake for import substitution by a Named End User would 'alert' the current supplier that they were losing the contract and this could cause 'difficulties'. Same thing if an End User revealed to a Trader current supplier that in 2017 they the End User were 'off the books'.

Do you follow ? New Mines need to get Offtakes NOW to establish Financing Criteria for Production Facilities of X kts of Graphite in 2017. The Imperative is that ALL that production is to be Sold to a predetermined Off Taker/ End User. A Named one who has given Financial Guarantees to take the KT's of Production at Market Price.

Yet there is a commercial reluctance understandable for End Users to 'sign up' early Off Takes for meeting existing Graphite Trad Demand as Import Replacement or from Middlemen Traders.
Especially if currently the 100 year Trading Houses have been doing value adding on Dragon Exports and distributing to said End Users.

Now do you see what the proposed front runners in the 2017 Production Race are up against? Getting Off takes for Finance from End Users to justify production forecasts and Costs has a 'chicken and egg' aspect.
End Users don't want to 'alert' current suppliers that 2/3 years from now they're dumped!

Isn't the Graphite Sector/ Market interesting / Seeing the problem solving required on your speculative investments that many got into on the "wave' of Tesla and Graphene especially.

Here in Siberia it's being tried to be worked out and it'd be 'benefical' if posters like graphite elaborated much deeper on their sweeping statements into details. After all it seems graphite has attended Steve Riddle Presentations Live, in the flesh. No doubt incl Q&A that elaborated his position, gave names to the 5% 10% of above.

Anyhow I'll post more on the above Import Replacement Demand " Dilemma' and Current signed Offtakes later.
