That is not true, unless it is very different for ASX listed stocks. You need to have a 4$ listing price and a market cap of 30 million or more. One company I was invested in last year uplisted to the NASDAQ as soon as they hit 4$ for a believe 30 days straight. Micro-cap bio-tech stock that doesn't have earnings and operates at a net loss every quarter.
