Fair to say Hairy the position of Labor has always been to have a price on Carbon. So nothing new there - and to have a market mechanism is so much cheaper and effective than the communist like Liberal party direct action policy. If we really did have a debt crisis (and we don't) then you don't just p155 away a couple of billion on direct action. Not to mention throwing away the billions that the carbon tax was raising. By the way how are the cheaper electricty bills going? Just got my new rates for the start of the year and guess what? the bill has gone up again. More pork pies from Tony at the last election if you ask me.
