The shale drillers in the US are already cutting production (or have plans to)
As one astute poster on HC of (yesterday) pointed out that the excess production is miniscule (100K barrels/day?)
That is very much in line with what T Boone Pickens is saying: that oil in storage will peek in about 6 weeks' time and then will rapidly disappear.
