Plain and simple: it doesn't matter what jealousy is, good or bad, the structure of the terms of reference - God is Love, Love is not Jealous - do not logically permit a Jealous God.
God being Love and love not being jealous, being the given attributes and terms, do not allow jealousy to co-exist with love.
Cry and complain all you like, these are the terms given by your scripture.
