Tech in S.Africa is not to bad a deal . I remember being there in 1995 with the BMATT team got a medal from Mandela) in 1995 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitas_Medal
and I discovered that the word for a 3 1/2 inch disc is a Stiffie, as opposed to the larger floppy!!!! This was when I asked for a new disc and this really attractive lady said do you want a floppy or a s.......!!!! Nearly fell through the floor. The rugby was blood marvellous as well!
If they are into tech in SA than they may be on to a winner (if the systems politically stay stable) and it is still evolving they have some very innovative IT companies there including start ups. Any way not posted for a while. SPI Volumes low and we can't get much worse unless they delist, the commodity cycle will turn eventually so a good share for the grand children. Now to go and look at ALK .............and see where it is at now. Cheers every body
