I'm a fan of the ikea system. All Blum drawers and hinges. I've done 5 over the years. If fitted well they can look as good as a job from a cabinet maker.
Trick is to buy an extra door or 2. They work to module sizes so if your 50mm short of a wall at an end it can look terrible. I cut one of the doors into a 50mm a scribe and install in the gap. If your handy you can pack it out to finish flush with the other doors.
Other trick is to make the benchtop yourself out of timber floorboards. The ikea benches are a mess, their jointing system is 3 rd world in standard. With a suitable board product substrate you can then fix your tongue and groove boards on top. Laminate 2 boards together at the leading edge to achieve a 40mm thickness. Oil regularly with orange oil and it should last a long time.
    Good luck with the project.
