How low is the margin for graphite in recarb? On average do you think it can be sold at $US500 p/t? Understand this is not the sexiest market out there but my view of it was that if all my good graphite is buried under lower grade graphite, then offloading it at near or just above cost allows these superpits some cost recovery. Substantial amounts if they move off ductile and FGI and start using CGI.

Your comment that batteries is where all the future growth lies. You don't see nuclear as being the 'future' future growth beyond batteries? Germans teaching the Chinese how to make pebbles within China. Germans (and Russians I think) assisting South Africa with manufacturing and testing their own pebbles which were going to be manufactured in Pretoria before the pmbr program collapsed into a heap. Both of these involved SGL. Even the Americans - Areva helping them with a prismatic design opposed to pebble - qualification to be done by the Canadians possibly. Beyond the obseleteness of graphite in batteries does nuclear not more than meet the gap that will be left once batteries move off natural graphite?
