So RM said that he hopes it is all done and dusted (that is a decision handed down) by May.
From what you just said I am assuming that Ryan or Steve gave August as the worst case scenario and not someone at the meeting.

IMO the 279 points of appeal, if all questions of Law, would not take long to rule on. That is, Judge Brown was either right or wrong under the law on those points. If the 279 points are a mix of questions of Law and questions of Fact then (as I believe they will be) then that will take longer but IMO 3 months is way too long.
