Buddhism does not "transcend" desire and fear, lust and avarice, etc, to achieve enlightenment
it is the opposite
it is enlightenment that achieves the ending of these toxic emotions
you have everything mixed up & backwards
in other words, Buddhism a 'superstition' to you
Buddha taught:
the enlightenment is the "seeing thus"
from "seeing thus", the mind become passion free
