as I just posted, when you ride a bicycle, your energy, mental will and physical body/exertion do most of the work. however, faith also operates. if there is no faith in the bicycle (eg. fear the wheel will fall off) or no faith in your self (eg. fear you will have a heart attack) then the bicycle will not be ridden

everything, every action, we perform in life is underlied by faith or trust

for example, now you sit on a chair because you have faith in that chair. if that chair had a dodgy leg, you would not have faith in it and thus not sit on it
