I'm no fan of Anesthesia Pinasomething and it looks like Labor won't have a clear majority in Queensland. The pressure is on Tony Rabbit to go but what the Queensland vote shows is that populist policies and government run the economy now.
Those reforms our economy needs aren't appealing to the average vote so it would seem that the Federal government will probably back track of policy. Our economy is politically hand tied and therefore cannot react appropriately to outside influences and forces.
Hence we are years behind our region. No manufacturing but nice cuddly koalas.
