Probably because market research has told GSK that the average time people take to brush their teeth is around the 30 seconds mark so that becomes their target.
They really need to invent a solution for the market research that shows many don't brush their teeth at all regularly. Maybe OBJ can invest something that helps by just thinking about brushing your teeth.
