Auditing means squat? Looks like you've never been audited. You won't enjoy the experience, it's like being guilty until proven innocent.
I'll repeat:
- News laws and tougher compliance standards came into effect after Enron. That collapse happened in 2001.
- Arthur Andersen went under along with their client Enron.
- FMG use PWC. PWC will not risk their neck just for one of their many clients.
- PWC will not only audit FMG's current numbers but will look at their forecasts to see whether going concern is an possible issue.
- PWC will also expect FMG to model various scenarios before they give them an unqualified opinion.
