We can only use the Dec amount $1.6b as a starting point and like all businesses this amount fluctuates

On another point the $7.0b debt increasing to $7.5b is not entirely correct

My point is that the tax bill $650m and divend $300m were shown as provisions on the balance sheet and now that they have been paid reduce the overall liabilities

If we look at it like this as at Sept net debt excluding provisions was $7.0b add provisions = $7.95b

Now net debt is only $7.5b but the provision for tax & dividends are nil

I could be wrong, but as at Sept these provisions were there and not shown as part of the net debt, now they have been paid
