If developed countries in Europe/Asia/North America had the guts, they would take a stronger stance.
I think they should get a mercenary force from various countries trained by NATO, paid for by rich countries like UAE, Japan, Saudi Arabia, US, Canada, France etc. Have 50,000 troops that are willing to go and eradicate these vermin, with air support from US and other countries, pay them well, then will see how tough these Cowards Daesh (Arabic acronym for Islamic state) are.

They hate the name Daesh, that's what they should call them, as they have no right to any country to create a state.
