Well, sub; there's only just one tiny discussion point between us, namely, that the Universe did have a beginning. The thing that I can't get is that something was born out of nothing. Quantum theory stuff but because I just cannot see myself as a believer in God, I have some sympathies with the something-out-of-nothing mathematicians. It's a wonderful exercise of the mind (way beyond me and light years beyond gyro and the yid) but I've been interested in this ever since Koestler! I still remember when the bugger came here and debated the issue with the Anglican Archbishop on Channel Two. Bastard went and shot himself with his wife... but I digress!
