Tig,
I'm not a technical trader, but at the start of September COK's share price hit a new low for the year. Late in the month it began falling further, at the same time as the price of coal resumed its decline and the newspapers were full of pessimism about commodities prices. I'm guessing that the people selling in the period you mention were just a lot smarter than you or me (I topped up on October 23).
The excess selling above normal daily turnover amounted to perhaps 40 million shares = $600,000 or 1% of market cap. Not exactly earth-shattering. So if you have some evidence that those involved were directors, shoot it into ASIC. Otherwise, stop frothing at the mouth and let us grieve in peace.
