As far as I can interpret , this sale is just the rope works near Hamilton.

ARI would be hoping to continue to sell the wire feedstock from its Newcastle Hi Carbon wire business to the rope works.

Whether Bekaert will stick with this or ultimately source feedstock from Overseas will be Bekaert's call.

In Geelong there was a long history of Bekaert and One Steel running a JV business providing Low Carbon wire for steel chord in tyres. I think Bekaert may have ended up buying that JV/business out from OST. Does anyone know the current status of feed supply? Does ARI still supply the wire feed from its Geelong wire mills or has Bekaert changed the game?
