Injection Safety Policy launch and SIGN meeting postponed to early 2015
Dear All,
Our policy launch was scheduled to take place 17-18 December 2014 but we have made an important decision to postpone it to early 2015.
WHO has devoted significant capacity to the Ebola outbreak, including the deployment of many infection, prevention and control specialists to perform training and give support to the front line responders in affected countries. Many partners and stakeholders have done the same.
A brief delay in the launch will give this important event the full
attention it deserves and make sure that our key partners and participants will be available to participate.
An official communication from Dr Marie-Paule KIENY, ADG /HIS will follow shortly with the new dates.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
Best regards
