Some of the contracts take some time to come on-stream by nature of them being large engineering projects and it would depend on how the contracts are arranged financially, they may also have either royalty or maintenance agreements backing into the completion of the project and this provides a longer term revenue flow. Each contract is unique in its features and as a result each contract has unique risks and revenue profiles.
As a company it is very solid, as an investment entity using various "Return on xxx Ratios" it may well fall below other companies in other sectors but when balanced against risk it often comes out on top.
